Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warden/ Handy Man to join our team to work on a residential park home site near Pontefract. The ideal candidate will possess a range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks around residential rental properties. Full driving licence is required. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Please note that you are required to live on site in a rent free 2-bedroom park home. Due to the park licence being for retirement, children are not allowed to live on the park.
Responsibilities
– Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing and basic electrical work, .
– Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
– Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
– Communicate effectively with clients and Park Owner/Head Office to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Experience
– Proven experience as a Warden / Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices.
– Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in construction and repair work.
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently.
– Good communication skills
