THIS IS A LIVE ON SITE POSITION IN A 2 BEDROOMED PARK HOME – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO LIVE ON THE PARK.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team to work on a residential park home site near Chester.

The ideal candidate will possess a range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks around residential rental properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Please note that you are required to live on site in a rent free 2 bedroom park home. Due to the park licence being for retirement, children are not allowed to live on the park.

Responsibilities
– Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing and basic electrical work, .
– Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
– Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
– Communicate effectively with clients and Park Owner/Head Office to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Experience
– Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices.
– Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in construction and repair work.
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently.
– Good communication skills and ability to email and have some computer skills.

Please note that you are required to live on site in a rent free 2 bedroom park home on site. As the park has a retirement park licence children are not allowed to live on the park. Normal hours of work are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Monday to Friday with occasional emergency cover over the weekend as per the business requirements.
